EPUB Reader works on your PC: your books are never uploaded. It opens DRM-free books only. Books bought on Kindle or locked with Adobe DRM only open in the app they were bought from; EPUB Reader tells you so and never removes or bypasses DRM. You can open books from the app, by dragging files or folders onto it, or from File Explorer with Open with.
